「お姉ねえちゃん、お姉ねえちゃん、たいへん。」と、まくらをならべている正ただしちゃんが、夜中やちゅうにお姉ねえさんを起おこしました。よく眠ねむ入はいっていたお姉ねえさんは、何事なにごとかと思おもって、おどろいて目めをさまして、「どうしたの、正ただしちゃん。」と、いまにも立たち上あがろうとなさいました。「あれ、たいへんじゃないか。」と、正ただしちゃんは、大おおきな目めをあけて、耳みみをすましていました。「なにさ、なにがたいへんなの。」「アオン、アオンといっているだろう。あれは、黒くろいどらねこだよ。そして、ニャア、ニャアといっているのは、三さん毛もうなんだよ。」正ただしちゃんは、ねこのけんかで目めをさましたのでした。小ちいさい三さん毛もうが、大おおきな黒くろねこにいじめられているので、たいへんだと思おもったのです。「ねこのけんかでしょう。そんなことで、人ひとを起おこすものがありますか、びっくりするじゃありませんか。」と、お姉ねえさんは、正ただしちゃんをしかりました。
