Read a sample in Japanese二人の仕事師が某夜夜回りに行っていると、すぐ目の前でふわりと青い火が燃えた。二人は驚いて手にしていた鳶口で、それを叩こうとすると、火の玉はびっくりしたように向こうの方へ行った。二人は鳶口を振りながら追っかけた。そして、数町行ったところで、その火の玉はただある路地へ折れて、その突き当たりの家の格子窓からふわふわと入ってしまった。と、家の中から苦しそうな呻きが聞こえて来た。それと同時に年取った女の声がした。「お爺さん、これお爺さん、何をそんなにうなされてるのだよ」すると老人の声で、「ああ怖かった、おれが街を歩いてると、何を勘違いしやがったのか、二人の仕事師が、出し抜けに鳶口を持って追っかけて来たのだから、命からがら逃げて来たのだよ」と言った。
