Read a sample in Japanese昭和十年九月二十八日の夜の八時頃、駒込神明町行の市電が、下谷池の端の弁天前を進行中、女の乗客の一人が、何かに驚いたように不意に悲鳴をあげて、逃げ出そうとでもするようにして上半身を窓の外へ出したところで、そこにあったセンターポールで顔を打って昏倒した。その女客は浅草区西鳥越町の市川喜太郎と言う人の細君で、墓参に行っての帰途であった。市電の方では驚いて近くの河野病院へ担ぎこんで手当を加え、悲鳴をあげて逃げ出そうとした事について聞いてみると、席の隣に全身血みどろになった幽霊がいたので、夢中になって逃げようとしたところであったと言ったが、その電柱は従来、毎月五六名も頭をぶつけて負傷をするので魔の電柱と言われているものであった。
