くるくるくるくる、ぐるぐるぐるぐる、そのお人形にんぎょうはさっきから眼めがまわって気分きぶんがわるくなっているのでした。ぐるぐるぐるぐる、くるくるくるくる、そのお人形にんぎょうのセルロイドのほおは真青まさおになり、眼めは美うつくしくふるえています。みんなが、べちゃくちゃ、べちゃくちゃ、すぐ耳みみもとでしゃべりつづけているのです。暗くらいボール箱ばこから出だしてもらい、薄うすい紙かみの目めかくしをはずしてもらい、ショーウインドに出だして並ならべてもらったのでみんな大おおはしゃぎなのです。「自動車じどうしゃが見みえるよ」「わあ、あの人ひと、可愛かわいいい犬いぬ連つれてたのしそうに歩あるいています」「おお、早はやくクリスマスがやって来こないかな」お人形にんぎょうたちは、みんなてんでにこんなことをしゃべっていましたが、そのなかに一いち人にん、今いまとても気分きぶんがわるくなっている人形にんぎょうがいました。はじめて眼めの前まえに街まちの景色けしきが見みえて来きたり、あんまりいろんなものが見みえるので、そのお人形にんぎょうは目めがまわったのかもしれません。
