Read a sample in Japaneseぽかぽかと暖かい秋の日でした。お池の亀さんたちもうつらうつらと日向ぼっこをしています。亀のカメコおばさんは、近所のマルコおばさんのうちへ、のそりのそりと這って行きました。ちょっと相談したいことがあったのです。相談というのは他でもありません、もう一週間するとお池でお祭りがあるのです。そのお祭りに自分の着る着物と、子供たちに着せる着物のことです。二人は何を着たらいいか、色々と相談しているうちに、あまりぽかぽかと暖かいものですから、だんだんと眠くなってきました。それでも目をパチパチさせて、何とかして眠らないように、骨を折りました。マルコおばさんはせっかくカメコおばさんが来たのだから、お客様の前で眠ったら大変失礼だと思いました。けれどもいくら我慢しても眠たくなるばかりです。そのうち、カメコおばさんもトロトロとまぶたが重くなりました。二人はお互いに、向こうが先に眠ってくれればいいのに、と思いました。
