Ａ操縦そうじゅう士しとＴ機関きかん士しはその日ひも旅客機りょかくきを操あやつって朝鮮ちょうせん海峡かいきょうの空そらを飛とんでいた。その日ひは切きれぎれの雲くもが低くひくく飛とんで、二に〇メートルと云いう烈はげしい北東ほくとうの風かぜが、水上すいじょう機きの両翼りょうよくをもぎとるように吹ふいていた。下したには荒あれ狂くるう白浪しらなみが野獣やじゅうが牙きばをむいたようになっていた。機体きたいは木この葉はのように揺ゆれた。それは慣なれているコースではあるが、二に人にんにとってこれほど苦くるしい飛行ひこうはかつてなかった。Ａ操縦そうじゅう士しはハンドルに、Ｔ機関きかん士しはエンジンにそれぞれ全ぜん神経しんけいを集あつめていた。突風とっぷうに乗のったと見みえて機体きたいがぐらぐらとなった。Ｔ機関きかん士しははっとして眼めをあげた。機体きたいは真黒まっくろい雲くもの中なかに入はいっていた。（あぶない）同時どうじに体からだが浮うくようになった。機体きたいは猛烈もうれつな勢ぜいで落おちていた。「あ」Ｔ機関きかん士しは思おもわず叫さけんだ。しかし、それも瞬間しゅんかん、飛行機ひこうきはそのまままたぐんぐんとあがって往った。（よかった）Ｔ機関きかん士しはほっとした。そして、額がくの脂汗あぶらあせを拭ふきながら、見みるともなしに後ごの客席きゃくせきに眼めをやった。
