初茸はつたけ、松茸まつたけ、椎茸しいたけ、木きくらげ、白しろ茸たけ、鴈かり茸たけ、ぬめり茸たけ、霜降しもふり茸たけ、獅子しし茸たけ、鼠ねずみ茸たけ、皮かわ剥はぎ茸たけ、米べい松露しょうろ、麦むぎ松露しょうろなぞいうきのこ連中れんちゅうがある夜よる集あつまって、談話だんわ会かいを始はじめました。一番いちばん初はじめに、初茸はつたけが立たち上のぼって挨拶あいさつをしました。「皆みなさん。この頃ころはだんだん寒さむくなりましたので、そろそろ私わたし共どもは土どの中なかへ引ひき込こまねばならぬようになりました。今夜こんやはお別わかれの宴会えんかいですから、皆みなさんは何なにでも思おもう存分ぞんぶんに演説えんぜつをして下ください。私わたしが書かいて新聞しんぶんに出だしますから」皆みながパチパチと手てをたたくと、お次つぎに椎茸しいたけが立たち上のぼりました。「皆みなさん、私わたしは椎茸しいたけというものです。この頃ころ人間にんげんは私わたしを大変たいへんに重宝ちょうほうがって、わざわざ木きを腐くさらして私わたし共どもの畑はたけを作つくってくれますから、私わたし共どもはだんだん大おおきな立派りっぱな子孫しそんが殖ふえて行いくばかりです。今いまにどんな茸たけでも人間にんげんが畠はたけを作つくってくれるようになって貰もらいたいと思おもいます」皆みなは大だい賛成さんせいで手てをたたきました。その次つぎに松茸まつたけがエヘンと咳払せきばらいをして演説えんぜつをしました。
